This policy reflects our commitment to acting ethically and with transparency in all business dealings. We fully support the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 and will take every reasonable step to ensure that slavery and human trafficking are not taking place in any part of our business or supply chains.
2. Scope
This policy applies to all employees, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and other business partners working on behalf of Westwood Plumbing & Heating Limited.

Westwood Plumbing & Heating Limited is a UK-based company operating in the plumbing and heating sector, delivering domestic and commercial installations, maintenance, and renovation services throughout the United Kingdom.
4. Our Commitment
We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery. As part of our compliance and ethical framework, we will:
Conduct due diligence on suppliers to assess risk areas in our supply chains.
Monitor high-risk supply chains for signs of modern slavery or forced labour.
Include modern slavery clauses in contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
Provide training and guidance to staff on recognising and responding to modern slavery risks.
Protect whistleblowers and ensure all reports are treated seriously and confidentially.

6. Due Diligence and Risk Assessment
We conduct risk assessments on our supply chain and maintain a register of suppliers. Where risks are identified, additional checks and site audits may be carried out. All new suppliers are required to confirm they comply with the Modern Slavery Act.
7. Training
Employees involved in procurement or recruitment receive specific training to help identify and mitigate risks of modern slavery. General awareness training is provided to all staff to promote vigilance.
8. Reporting Concerns
Concerns about suspected modern slavery should be reported immediately to a manager or anonymously via our confidential reporting process. All reports will be investigated, and appropriate action will be taken.
9. Review and Monitoring
This policy is reviewed annually and updated as needed to reflect changes in legislation or our business operations.
