RAIN WATER HARVESTING
Rainwater harvesting is the process of collecting and storing rainwater for various uses, such as irrigation, domestic water supply, and groundwater recharge. It typically involves the collection of rainwater from rooftops, catchment surfaces, or other surfaces, which is then channelled into storage tanks, cisterns, or underground reservoirs. This harvested rainwater can be used for non-potable purposes like watering plants, flushing toilets, and even after treatment, for drinking in some cases. Rainwater harvesting helps conserve water resources and reduce the demand on traditional water sources, making it an environmentally friendly and sustainable practice.
Westwood are doing their bit and aim to support the environment. We are proud to have created a bespoke rainwater harvesting facility housed in a 20/40 shipping container. We can adapt tanks to capture anything from 10-20,000 litres of rainwater which can be pumped back into your facility, saving thousands of litres of water per annum.
PLANT ROOMS

The primary purpose of a plant room is to centralise the maintenance and control of critical building systems. Our in-house design team can support you and your needs. From pressurised hot water, natural gas, LPG direct, water heaters, air source and ground source heat pumps. Plant rooms are the hidden powerhouses of buildings, housing the critical systems that ensure the comfort, safety, and functionality of the structure. SITE WELFARE
This is by far our busiest sector providing nationwide support. Our aim is to support you to support your staff well-being which is an ever-growing industry.
Our site welfare plumbing typically includes:

NATIONAL RAIL
We have successfully completed extensive plumbing work at Kings Cross station, ensuring a reliable and efficient water supply throughout the facility. Our team of experienced plumbers worked diligently to install and maintain the necessary plumbing systems, including water supply lines, drainage systems, and fixtures. We also conducted regular inspections and maintenance to ensure the continued functionality of the plumbing infrastructure.
In addition to our work at Kings Cross station, we have also contributed our plumbing expertise to the construction of the New HS2 Line. Our team played a crucial role in the installation and integration of plumbing systems in various stations and facilities along the route. This involved the design and implementation of water supply networks, sanitary systems, and other plumbing infrastructure necessary to support the daily operations of the high-speed rail line.
