This week marks a major milestone for Westwood Plumbing & Heating Ltd., as we proudly celebrate nine incredible years of serving the homes, businesses, and communities of Yorkshire and the UK.
Since 2016, we’ve grown from a small, engineer-led outfit into a trusted name known for quality workmanship, customer-first service, and a forward-thinking approach to renewable technology. Over the past year, in particular, we’ve taken significant strides forward, welcoming new talent into the business, expanding our capabilities with air source heat pump servicing and installations, completing advanced heat pump and F-Gas training, launching a new website, and securing new contracts, such as the one at the nationally renowned land based college, Bishop Burton.
It’s been another year of progress, investment, and passion — and we’re incredibly proud to celebrate it with you. Here’s to the journey so far, and what’s still to come, with forward momentum we go.
Apprenticeships: Fueling Our Future
We welcomed two new apprentices into the Westwood family, following our commitment to nurturing the next generation of skilled engineers and maintaining our engineer-led ethos. These apprentices are already contributing on-site, learning the trade and joining a legacy of craftsmanship.
Reaching nine years in business is a huge moment for us, and I couldn’t be prouder of what the team has achieved. It’s been a year full of momentum. Westwood was built on hard work, honesty, and craftsmanship — and those values continue to guide everything we do. Launching of a Heat Pump Division
In response to growing demand for sustainable heating, we officially launched our domestic and heat pump division last year – Westwood Renewables. Have you seen the snazzy new vehicle out and about near you?
Now, homeowners across Yorkshire can trust us not only to install but also to maintain and optimise air source heat pumps, ensuring their systems run efficiently for years to come.
Capping it off, several of our team secured their heat pump and F-Gas certifications, demonstrating our unwavering commitment to our personal development, customer-focused quality, safety, and eco-conscious expertise.
Bathroom & Boiler Installations
We hit impressive milestones this year in transformational home improvements:
Over 30 luxury bathroom installations—from stylish wet rooms to family-friendly suites.
More than 50 boiler installations, delivering reliable, energy-efficient heating to homeowners across Beverley and beyond.
A New Website & Fresh Contracts
- We relaunched our website with a brand new look and feel, offering clearer navigation, faster booking, and enriched content to help clients find exactly what they need. Early feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.
- We also secured a significant commercial contract at the local college. Working with Bishop Burton College reinforces our standing in the educational and commercial sectors with bespoke plumbing and heating solutions.
